This edition of the Weekend Games selection is coming to you loud and live from sunny Las Vegas! Myself and the team have been getting lost in some of this edition’s games and have also been keeping ourselves busy with a new game announce (scroll down to learn more 👀)

Also, in case you were wondering, you all voted for Firewatch as the best indie game of 2016! Poor old Stardew Valley and Inside who came 2nd and 3rd respectively, but somehow I’m sure they’ll be okay...

Anyway, without further ado, let’s see the games!

FEBRUARY NEW RELEASES

We’re bringing you some of our top picks from the month so far, all of these are worth your time, we promise ⏱️

BERRY BURY BERRY

A very merry berry time to be had in this incremental physics game with seriously creepy vibes. Surely nothing can go wrong when all you're doing is throwing berries down a hole?

CREATURE KITCHEN

Creature Kitchen is one of those wholesome-but-actually-creepy titles that nails the atmosphere and lets you feed local raccoons and other wildlife. Expect twists and some narrative fun fun packed into a tight runtime!

OMELET YOU COOK

Such an obvious genre that it's an absolute miracle no one has come up with an omelette-cooking roguelite yet. We can't believe it's taken this long, but thankfully the game is well worth the wait.

SELINI

A game that wears its Limbo and Inside influences on its sleeves, but is wearing a Metroidvania suit. SELINI offers a beautiful side-scrolling adventure in which you must find meaning, that launched yesterday.

CHROMA GUN 2: DYE HARD

ᴇᴠᴇʀʏTʜɪɴɢ will 𝐛𝐞 ᴘEʀ𝐅𝓔ᴄᴛʟʏ 𝒇 𝔦 𝓃 ҽ . • ° according to their Steam description which fills us with confidence. Enjoy this colour-based Portal-inspired puzzle game that came out yesterday!

ENCHAIN

We've had our eyes on this soulslike x boomer shooter for a while and was meant to launch into Early Access in the next day or two (Steam review depending). One to wishlist and get notified when it launches!

REMOTE CONTROL - NEW WEEKEND GAMES TITLE

A couple of weeks ago we announce Remote Control, a new title from the devs behind CorpoNation. We couldn’t be more excited to be bringing this survival horror to players in 2026! Offering an Alien: Isolation-inspired world, with Severance style corporate horror, it’s an amazing time, and you should totally stick it on your wishlist.

WHAT’S COMING UP?

Check out some more of what February has to offer - if they aren’t already, you should get all of these on your wishlists!

FORGOTLINGS 17th FEB

Get lost in this hand-painted metroidvania that draws inspiration from Disco Elysium. Unite the tribes or conquer them by sword in a game where your decisions really matter.

INSIDER TRADING 18th FEB

Ride it to THE MOON! This stock market-themed roguelite promises the fantasy of going bankrupt gambling on wall street assets, that’s what you’ve always wanted right?

THEY KILLED YOUR CAT 25th FEB

You have to manually blink, reload, and shoot your enemies in this short FPS where revenge is best served John Wick style.

DICE A MILLION 25th FEB

Big numbers, big dice, big potential. If you'd prefer your Balatro experience to feature more dice, this game might just be for you.

It’s been a wonderful start to 2026 for the indie scene, and it only promises to get better as we move into prime spring launch windows. What are you most looking forward to?

Thanks for sticking around, it’s time for me to catch a flight out of Sin City. As always, be sure to follow on socials for more recommendations and have a great weekend.

George & the Team.
